Agility Robotics just filed to go public through a SPAC merger with Churchill Capital, valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The robot is called Digit, and it is already working.
This matters because Digit is not a prototype. It is deployed at Amazon and Toyota right now. The company is not promising what robots could do someday. It is shipping what robots do today.
The SPAC will bring in roughly $600 million. That includes about $420 million from Churchill’s trust account and over $200 million from private investors betting on the company. The ticker will be AGLT on Nasdaq, and the deal closes before the end of 2026.
Humanoid robotics are having a moment. Boston Dynamics robots are in factories. Tesla is building Optimus. Now Agility is raising public capital specifically to scale Digit manufacturing and deployment.
The race is not just about who builds the best robot. It is about who can manufacture them at scale and put them to work. Once the robots work, the constraint becomes production. Agility is moving to unlock capital to solve that constraint.
