Anthropic launched Reflect this week, and it’s doing something we haven’t seen before: tracking how you actually work with AI.
It’s a dashboard that lives in Claude. You can see what topics you spent time on, your peak working hours, how much you’re using Claude, patterns in what you ask for. It generates a monthly recap. That’s it. No judgment calls. Just data about how Claude fits into your workday.
The thing I like about Reflect is what it teaches you about yourself. Most people have no idea how much of their week goes to a given problem, or what time of day they’re sharpest, or whether they’re actually using AI for creative work or just admin cleanup. Reflect turns that invisible.
This matters because AI adoption is still this weird thing where people either dismiss it entirely or let it run their whole workflow without asking if that’s working. Reflect sits in the middle. It says: Here’s what you’re doing. Now decide if that’s the life you want.
It’s available now in beta on Free, Pro, and Max across the web and Claude Desktop, and it requires memory to be on. The rollout is quiet, which tells me Anthropic is testing whether people actually want this kind of mirror.
I think they do. Work is personal, and the more you can see your own patterns, the more control you have over them.
